| Bummer, looks like things are not improving... I was suggesting the Service manual for the diagram in order to know to what each wire is connected so you can test each end with a voltage/ohm meter. Patience and thoroughness is the only advice I can can give.

| It could of happened when you were installing it. Just keep some extra fuses and give your wires a good look over for shorts. At least now you know why they weren't working if it does happen again.

| thanx Drag.... i thought something like that....now the new speedo is not installed yet and the cables are not connected. I will isolate them better while i'm waiting... Do you think i should keep (connected) the original board somewhere on the bike? |

| Probably created a short circuit when installing/removing the speedo. Glad it all worked out! No pointin keeping on the bike if you don't use it. Just make sure there's no short.
