Default Light Bar

Guys,

I have searched for something and can't seem to find it. Someone had a custom light bar that they made for their M-50 that I saw posted here at one time and I can't seem to find it now. I haven't been on the forum for too long, so I can't remember who it was. But apparently, he\she was getting requests to make some of them. I was wondering if that rings any bells. It was a sleek setup and didn't stick out beyond the forks.

Thanks!!

Hey, I bought 2 driving lights at Wal-Mart and mounted them on the crossbar just below the headlight. There are 2 holes already drilled there. I bought 2 Hex bolts 8mm 1 25x20mm. from Home Depot. Make sure they aren't any longer than 3/4 ". Screwed them in and wired directly into the extra plug that is in the headlight housing. They really light up the road and look great.

Awesome, using your info on the bolts needed, I just did this mod on mine!
Thanks!

Guys, be careful mounting your lighs here....I too did this because it was so easy but then I noticed two dents and paint scratches on my front fender. Was really suprised the bikes front fork traveled that far.

Jusy my 2 cents.

Aw crap! I knew that it was too good to be true - a mod that I can do (and cheaply).. Now I must look into fabricating a bracket of some kind. It was you that did it, wasn't it?

Check this one out:

I bought this one and it fits perfectly on my "M". Holes mounted up correctly and took less than 5 minutes to install. Looks great also

Sorry about the water spots, didn't have time to clean her up tonight!

Glad to be of help.....wish I had spotted it sooner. The light mod is inexpensive and looks factory and gets the lights up where they should be.
