Question Please Help Me Find A Good Passenger Seat

Hey folks. I'm pretty new to the forums. I have truly enjoyed reading all the posts here. I just purchased my '05 red M50 3 months ago. My wife was a bit scared at first, but it only took two trips up to Red Rocks Amphiteater here in Colorado for her to realize how great of a thing riding is. There is one problem. She HURTS! She has given me an ultimatum..."buy me a cushy, pillow-style gel seat..or I won't ride long trips with you any more". I of course enjoy the time we spend together...but HATE hearing "ouch" every bump. So any help would be great. I like the pillow seat they make for the C90, but I don't know if it's compatibel with the M50. Also, if you have any links/ pics. Please post. Thanks ya'll!

There is not a lot available for improving the passneger seat. Check out this thread it describes how to modify the C50 passenger pillion seat for the M50. I have done this mod, it was easy and only cost about $35 for the C50 seat on ebay. I don't know if the C90 passenger pillion is similar enough to do the same thing or not.

My wife says it is a significant improvement, but she still would like a little more comfort. Our longest ride so far is about 135 miles.

If you want spend some more $ then look at replacing the entire seat. Corbin has a Dual Tour seat available that is supposed to be very comfortable, although it is not a pillowy seat. Corbin makes firm seats with a memory foam product that conforms to the rider/passenger shape and provides firm support to spread out the weight evenly. Saddleman is supposed to have something available for the M50 soon also.

Good luck. Ride safe.
