| Did I mention a have been riding for only 1 month? I was a virgin motorcyclist around March 25th. Self-taught.... Not bragging, it was probably stupid. I just drove by myself up to the tip of Michigan and back to SE Michigan. Just short of the tip of the mit. |

| About 350 K's and a couple of hundred the next and yes I was a bit sore. As for the seat, when I first got my M after a 20 minute stint I was feeling it but I think the more I ride it the better it gets (or the harder my but gets). I've got almost 4000K's on her now and can ride for a couple of hours at a time no problems.

| Newbie | I totally agree with taking the MSF now. I got my bike about a year ago and took the MSF about a month after i started riding. I was self taught to ride and it was also my first bike. I learned alot about low speed manuevers and different techniques that really helped me handle the bike. In PA where i live when you pass the MSF you are automatically given your motorcycle license and you can get an insurance discount depending on your carrier. TAKE THE MSF AS SOON AS THERE'S AN OPEN CLASS!!!! TOTALLY WORTH IT |

I've put roughly 250 miles on it one way with two stops before finishing. Hopefully that number will only go up as this summer goes along....I think it will due to the "buttbuffer" I purchased that makes me almost forget I gotta butt at all.

| M-J.Com Master Poster ![]() | The furthest so far was this weekend, 400 miles. This was my first time to northwest Illinois. When you think Illinois you think flat farm land, not here. Galena to Warren was a 26 mile rollercoaster that made the trip all worth while. If you live around here give it a try it won’t disappoint you. One of the next investments though is going to be a windshield and butt buffer both my neck and rear end are sore.
