|  Tire Pressures
Has anyone reduced their tire pressures from the recommended amounts in order to get a smoother ride? I have and the bike is now much smoother. It seems to me that these IRC tires are quite stiff and so contribute to a bumpy ride. In case anyone wishes to remind me of the dangers of riding with a soft tire remember that tires operate best within a particular range of pressures and one has to choose the pressure that best suits the road conditions. There is no one pressure that is best. Recommended pressures are just that, recommended. |
