Default Well, I took the plunge (newbie here)

Bought a 2006 Blue M-50. Going to pick it up next week. Is $6399 out the door a good price? I think it is, considering it's "peak" sales season. All the dealers here locally to me would not go under $7000 out the door. So I decided to go out of state.

I'm fired up to say the least though!! I may be joining you guys at the Dragon. I'm new to the M-50, but not new to riding.

This is a great network of guys, so I'll be lurking and posting alot more now.

Congrats, but you'll be adding your state's sales tax to license it when you get home....

Thanks guys for the replies.

Tex, yes, but this is only going to be about $60 more when I get back. So it's not that much.

Congrats and you will enjoy the bike - it's a good choice (as far as cruisers go) for a road like the Dragon too. Where are you?

My '06 was $6400 OTD inc. 5% sales tax. That works out to be $6095.25 plus tax.

yep..gotta fill out the location VOL...hehe.

You got a good price, don't worry. I got less than $6, but my dealer is a Harley dealer as well so they let Zuk's go cheap.

And if you want to join us on the Dragon..hot dam! Find the thread (sorry too lazy to link) and fill us in on who/what/when/how/etc..LOL

Welcome and enjoy your M! It's a blast to ride.

Let's see, looking at your user name, are you from Tennessee?

Yep I'm from Tennessee. I live in the Knoxville area, so the Dragon is just a hop and a skip from me.

I'll fill out the map shortly and keep up with the latest on the Dragon trip. As of right now, I have something going on that weekend, but I'm going to see if I can wiggle my way out of it.
