|  K & N for OEM filter housing
Hi Everyone, I realised the advantages of a K & N filter with my last bike, (a Volusia). I still had the filter element in the garage from when i sold the bike. As i am on a tight budget i thought that the cheapest way to increase airflow was to utilise the filter element i had in the garage and buy a second hand C50 filter housing. Well $53 later and this is what it looks like. I already had a PC3 fitted and the Dynojet engineer told me to try the bike with the K & N before a remap.Especially as it seemed to be running a tad rich as the exhaust was a little black. And the result is outstanding. Great throttle response, a more meaty exhaust note and a great induction roar on wide throttle openings.And i dont think i will bother with the remap. Jeff |
