Default Washing Bike with Thunder Air Cleaner??

A question for those with Thunder MFG Air cleaners

"What do you wrap around your Air Cleaner so as not to drown the paper air filter when washing your bike???"

What i do is to wrap it in cling wrap and then have 2 plastic bags over the top with elastic bands keeping it tight and snug. I wash my bike maybe once fortnight, gets pretty dusty and a few big bugs in the outback. Just wondering if there is an easier method.

Thanks
Toolboy

Get one of those plastic shower caps that have the elastic around the outer edge and just pop it over the filter instead of your head.

I used to take two plastic bags and put it over the filter and then tie or rubber band them. Used two simply because one may have had a hole I didn't see.
