| I'm on a roll here. In the past couple of weeks I've drilled out the entire last baffle on my pipes and also had the dealer remap my fuel chip. My question is, what happens if I drill some holes in my air intake cover to increase flow? Any feedback appreciated as always.

| I cut out the front and bottom of mine. It ran okay, but after the pc3 it was way better. I have yet to really sit down and play with it, but as most here will tell you. You do need a programer or a remap. I didnt ride very far, not even out of town, but I think it actually slowed down with the box cut out and no programmer.

| I already had the remap done, or do you think I will have to have an additional remap after the airbox mods too? How exactly did you cut out the front and bottom and what performance increase did you notice after you got the pcIII installed?

| I dont know if you will need another remap? I wouldnt think so. I cut the front between the two bolts, kinda like a square, and the bottom I trimmed between those bolts more like a triangle. I will try and get some pics in the morning.

| Do the nut spacer mod instead, it doesn't require any cutting/drilling. http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...ock+air+intake
