|  Final Pictures of my M50
Yep, this is it...my M50 was sold earlier this afternoon. Don't worry, in its place will be a 2006 Red V-Strom 650 which I should be picking up tommorow.  I really wanted to keep my M and get the Strom to complement it, but I came to the realization that I would never use both equally and so it would be best to just have one bike. The last ride as I rode to the buyer's house (only a few minutes away) was pretty sobering...for some reason it seemed like more people than normal were turning their heads to find out what was making that weird exhaust note as I rolled down the street. M50 is a great cruiser, it will be missed...but it's time to move on. Have some pictures I took before I dropped it off...the chrome pieces I painted flat black are clearcoated in these pics so they have a satin shine to them, looks better I think (in case anyone else is considering doing the same).  |
