Default Mistaken for a Buell!

Today while out riding, I was stopped at a signal light. Just as the light turned green, the cag'er next to me asked "Hey, buddy! Is that a Buell?". I just shook my head and rolled on.

Funny as Buell's look nothing like the M50. I'm not surprised however, as everyone out here is so Harley crazy, that if it ain't a Harley, it must be a Buell.

You really gotta know nothing about Buell's to mistake an M50 with one...

X3

Dont worry man, youre not the only one who has to put up with others ignorance.....The Harley obsession is everywhere......I have people tell me all the time " OH, so thats one of those Harley wannabe bikes huh?"
How the hell does an M50 look like a Harley or Vice Versa? The headlights are similiar I suppose........?!?!?!?!?!?!

The neighborhood I just moved into is full of Harley guys........only two will talk or wave to me.....the one up the street is to busy (Im totally serious about this) fixing his bike in the garage to ride it.....I always see him outside trying to get the turn signals to work...........If he wasnt so rude I could easily help him rewire his bike....but people are people y'know?

Dude at the gas pump next to me: "What did that start out as, a V-rod?"
Me: "It's a Suzuki."
Dude at the gas pump next to me: Then turned his back to me.

some guy on a buell firebolt xb12r pulled up next to me at a light, i thought it looked pretty cool. only problem is it stalled as he came to a stop and it wasn't because of the rider. he mentioned something about being too lean or something...i couldn't quite hear all of it but i was like, that's not good.

if someone thinks the m50 looks like a buell...well...umm haha

I was showing my bike to a friend of mine at his business when one of his customers walked up and tried to jump in the middle of our conversation about the bike. He asked if it was a Harley. (I still had the Suzuki sticker on the rear fender, and he walked up to the rear of it.) I said no and left it at that, (I didn't want to ruin my bud's sale).

I do like it when the girls say "Nice bike". That always makes me feel warm and tingly

That there is a very good feeling. Both bikes get that comment from the 'fairer' gender. My old Sportster never did.
