Default Where to start on Accessorie?

New to forums. I bought my '05 M50 a couple weeks ago. It was used with only 500 miles. It came with a Memphis Shade faded red windshield. I bought the Suzuki talk back rest with luggage rack to ease my travel to work. I work 24 hour shifts so some luggage was needed quickly.

I am not sure what accessories to get next. I am considering the Suzuki floor boards vs. the KURYAKYN Switchblades. Would also like to consider a throttle lock, Also a little better seat for my best half whom I hope will be my passenger this summer.

Any suggestions would be helpfull.

Thumbs up

Welcome....Glad to have ya aboard!!

Concerning the switchblades/floor boards.......I myself have the switchblades and like them alot. Basically for the look and the option of a heal rest when needed and fold it away when ya don't.

Concerning the seat, some here are waiting to see what Corbin developes for us, check this thread out for more info.

Something else that will definately help is the "search function" on for any items/discussions ya have a curiousity about.

I'm sure there will be more help and welcomes to come.

Again.....welcome, hope ya enjoy your stay.

Welcome Bigred
I would hold off on the seat for a bit as corbin is working on some new one for our M's and as far as the other stuff i can't say from experiance but i am planing the forward controls from scottworks and then the switch blades as I like to rest my feet rather than hold them on the boards
but to each there own i always say when it all comes down to it you will be the one to make the final call !
good luck and great choise on bikes ! thumbs up

I second that!!!

Welcome to M-J.com. Many good ideas abound when you browse around. You may want to check out the Corbin thread in the M50 forums too. Merlot, one of the members here, graciously donated his bike so that Corbin can design aftermarket seats and other items for it.

I just installed the switchblades on mine. The look fits the M50 better than floorboards. For me floorboards made the bike look "heavier" contrary to the idea of what the M50 is about. Just my opinion. Welcome and have fun on the this board. Lot's of helpful people with good vibes.

For an idea of accessories and addiction to customization (hehehe), you've got to check out the website of a fellow member here - Zuki Dude. He's the king.
