| i already got an open face helmet, now i'm lookin for a good integral one (for cold seasons). Can u suggest a vintage-look helmet that goes well with the M50 muscle cruiser look? i need it flat matt black with no adhesives or designs on. Thanx a lot for your answers. |

| i saw this helmet on Nolan website...it was one of my first choices. it's black and seems to have a really good design for an M50 rider. Can u tell me something more, especially about the dark visor? How much did u pay for it? |

| In Training ![]() | Thanks Atlas. It's good to feel welcome Blackmagic, there are 2 visors on this helmet, the clear one is fogless and not so easy to scratch and the dark one is a removable/retractable sun screen that helps a lot if you dont like or can't wear sun glasses when you ride in sunny weather. If you decide not to use it at all, you can remove it anytime. The N101E Metal Black cost me €300, but note that I bought it in the Azores islands (Portugal) it's probably cheaper in Italy!!! The N102 models come with N-Com system wich is quite a good thing to have if you dicide on long trips with passenger. Ride Safe!!!

| And for the N. American market. This is so cool. http://www.helmetcity.com/Merchant2/...ode=n102solids http://helmetharbor.com/streethelmet...an/opening.htm http://www.powersports4less.com/deta...T_ID=TR-395900 These motorcycle helmets are just crying to be put on your head and why well let me begin with that the shell is made from an aerodynamic polycarbonate material with a built in spoiler for added stability. The VPS (Vision Protection System) is a small darkened shield mounted on the outside of the shell which moves from the clear shield and has 3 positions, so you have your normal clear visor with a darkened visor on top of that and they both work independently. The liner is removable and washable so you can keep it fresh and clean at all times. The liner has snap on fixings which allows easy removal, this is a great helmet and is DOT Approved and or exceeds. NO, I'm not a sales person.

I don't know how much this would help you. I already have the N102. It was purchased in Italy by a friend. I love it. i don't have much to compare it to other than the HJC, Fueller, and Vega that i have tried in some sotres. Nolan is the best. That is for me. My friend bought me a size large and an extra insert/face pads size medium. It was with the uncertainty of the right fit. Well, so far I can use both very well. The large fits in a way that keeps me thinking on what is the right size for me. They both fit very well, granted the medium a bit snug compare to the large but not tight to point of discomfort. According to Nolan's sizing chart, for me, I am at the end size of medium strating to large. Like i said, both paddings fit very well. I really don't know if i am a medium or a large by definition. In terms of the cost. here in the US the lowest prices i have seen online is from www.mawonline.com They have vintage N100 flat. it is for $179.00 with no return because is clearence. According to Nolan's here in the US those Vintage were mistakenly brought to the US when they were intede for European market. The N102 is offered for $233.00, that is a few bucks less than the other sites i have seen. My friend told me that prices here in the US and Italy are about the same. ???? Over all, I in my limited experienced, am very satisfied with the feel of the Nolan. Don't really know if i would change brands. MHO is that helmet is the one you like and feel comfortable with. If continuing with the public opinion there is no good helmet. I feel that they all are going to work and fail at some point. I live the rest to my God | |
