Well... that would definitely do the trick. It is big enough to get the tailbone off of the hard mount for the seat. It just looks like it may push me too far forward??? And what about the contents of the bag? I guess tools may not be good to put in the tool bag, as you may find yourself in the same situation. Hmmm... much to think about.

The best part of it is that you can adjust the placement very easily. Just loosen or tighten the straps, there's plenty of strap available. I ran my last trip with a bottle of water and my rain suit in there. Actually more comfortable if filled. Check out the last pic where I'm pushing it back, it does get the tailbone off the back of the seat but provides some support.

You might want to fill out your profile too. You should start your own thread and introduce yourself to everyone. A lot of friendly/helpful people here.

I did a couple of hours on my Saddlemen Explorer today. It is better than stock but nothing really great. I was so looking forward to riding in real comfort so I am a little disappointed. Maybe it will get better with time but I think I will order an Alaskan leather Sheepskin butt Pad to help out a bit !
I think it probably has a lot to do with our body make up as well. It doesn't bother my tailbone like it does with some, its my darn cheekbones !
