It seems like there was a jam up ahead with everybody hitting the brakes and made a stoppie... then it infected everyone else in the back... weird though, they must be moving faster than traffic or just not paying attention.

It looks to me like it was an organized event and people had stopped on the opposite lanes to watch all the bikes (and take pics) when this happened. You see the one guy jump out of his car waving his hands to slow everyone down.

Also, you notice how many people locked up the rear tire? I guess it's a natural reaction to not use the front brake enough but I think I would have risked sliding out the front tire or even an "endo"(sp?) before plowing into my buddy in front of me. But who knows, I wasn't there. I've been in two bike wrecks and it happens a lot faster than you realize.

BTW, Did you notice the brake lights in the mufflers on the bike in pic number 8? That's pretty cool.

I was just looking around the internet for more info on what happened; apparently this was an organized bike rally somewhere in Russia. In looking at the background (buildings, signs), that's probably true.

I've seen this before. It did happen in Russia. About one of the ugliest looking pileups of multiple bikes I've seen.

Hey! I actually had the bike for sale locally but thanks to the local dealers practically giving away the 2006 models and leftover 2005 models, I couldn't even get what I owed on it.

I really like the bike (I just hate that friggin' seat). So, I just decided to spend the money to have a new seat made and keep the bike. I'll probably use "The teach"s guy from his other thread to make me a seat.

I don't have a lot of time to ride, but I live only a few miles from the worlds largest private motorcycle collection and right next to a motorcycle resort and on top of a small mountain that bikers LOVE so it kills me to hear all these bikes cruising by if I can't go ride too, ya' know.

Looks like Talledega after the first car checks up. What a mess! Glad I saw the pix. I'm doing the toy run this Christmas and I can see something like this happening since we get thousands of bikes particpating. There's always someone that has a couple of beers to start the day before riding...

Wow that was ugly! I like the fact that the pictures do show so much.. The person leaning on another bike. The hair flying. lol

Uhhh I mean it's horrible.

theres a lot of funny (and scary) stuff on that "compfused" site. My wife and I sat for quite a while at the computer one night, addicted to the stupid videos.. I found this one pretty amusing (non mc related)

Whether OT or not, those animal videos do pose the question "How the heck did this happen?" The two-legged dog was a neat story.
