Default Time - M50 = Time Wasted

Two weeks in NY and I return to a half painted bike, no finished seat, no forward controls, and still waiting on the air intake. The guy who's painting the bike got an upper respriatory(sp) infection while I was gone and got waaaay behind schedule.

Three weeks and no bike to ride.

I checked out the paint and it did looks sweet though. Black flames (original paint) with a dark blue candy marble paint. He ghosted a shadow of the flames over the marble to make a pretty sweet look. Now if he can only finish it so I can ride again.

Oh, and the Suzuki dealer called me yesterday and told me that the saddle bags I've been waiting two months on got recalled and they'll take till next year filling the back orders! UGH! I guess I'll find a sissy bar slip-on to keep the look clean.

I'm reduced to running around the house yelling verrrroooooom in chaps and a helmet. Not a pretty sight I tell ya.

I wish you could rent bikes.

I had cars screetching and women screaming every time I passed the living room window.

sux you didnt have a finished bike waiting for you. pretty soon you are not going to be able to ride due to weather...so you'll get to sit on it in the garage and go vroom vroom...maybe even start er up! (just remember to open the garage door).

cant wait to see pics, which i am sure will not do the ghost and marble any justice either.

ROFL.. you guys rock! Thanks for cheering a guy up.

Chadrob, trust me in that you do not want pics!! I was actually considering putting the helmet and gloves on and drive to work in the 4Runner with my head sticking out the window.

Pinhy, Colorado Springs is such a weird place that I'm sure it'll snow a few times but should be able to ride through November. After that I'll live vicariously through my Floridian connections. Come January I'll be asking, "Pinhy, Sundude, Zuki, tell me a story about riding." Oh wait, Zuki doesn't actually ride.

Blackie, back in my Army days I was working with some SF guys in Nicaragua and my sig is the best lesson they had to teach me. That and how to build a jungle antenna. I am peeved I didn't think of the thong first though.

Thanks again guys,

TT
