Default Highway Pegs

I bought my Blue M50 a month ago and haven't stopped riding since. I am a new member and I have a few questions. Does anyone have higway pegs on their engine case gaurds? When I ride I like to stretch out a little so if anyone has suggestions feel free. So far I have debadged, drilled pipes(just for the added rumble), suzuki engine case guards and an improvised version of zukis rear fender mod. I have a lot of plans for my M50 and I am just getting started. Also I plan on riding in the winter, not too bad in SC but if anyone knows of some good winter gear let me know.

Pictures coming soon.

Bought a nice pair on Ebay for under $30. Feels good to stretch the legs out on longer rides. Only problem is the air box. Can't get my entire foot on the right peg but not ready to spend the money to change the air box. Just a minor inconvenience. Maybe getting a set of offset mounts might help. Anyone have pegs with offset mounts?

welcome suzukiguy...actually thinking about highway pegs myself. Sundude are the 30 dollar ones on ebay actually decent? Or are they a case of get what you pay for (i.e. coming loose easy or something to that effect)?

welcome guy....

i was between bars and pegs or forward controls. i decided since it would only be once in a while that i get to go on long trips and would use the pegs, i went with FC that gets me more comfortable all the time. i like them...(im 6-1 and have a 34" inseam, so kinda needed the FC)

.

Suzukiguy,
I have just put on a pair of the kuykuran offset pegs. I like to be able to stretch out some on the longer rides, as far as looks they are O.K. More functional. They were 99.00 and are very heavy duty though. so al in all worth the money.

Sitting on my bike today, i found i could barely reach the engine guards from my normal sitting position, so no highway pegs for me afterall. Guess that's what i get for having a tall torso and shorter legs.

I got a good ride in today and the functionality of the offset pegs were very good, so I will keep them on the bike!

Here's the link to them. Didn't have any problems with them. I like the fact that they are mostly chrome and blend in with the engine guards nicely. No sliding or anything (put some electrical tape around the bar first) Only thing that I don't like is the air box doesn't allow you to put your whole foot on the peg. Offset mounts are probably better but hey, they work well enough.
