The Marauder 1600 looks a lot nicer than the Mean Streak.

My friend just bought a "NEW" in the crate leftover 2003 Meanstreak for $8900.00,,, not too much more than what that is going for now. There are still alot of 2004 leftovers at the different dealerships.

Went to Freewheeling in Douglasville Saturday morning and they had a 2004 Marauder 1600 sitting in the showroom for about $8000.00 or so dollars. I can't afford it so I didn't really pay it too much attention other than wow that's cool and kept walking.

If anyone is serious they are about 30 miles west of Atlanta and they open up again on Tuesday. PM me and I will give you the phone number. "NEW" never been titled '04.

Well slap me in the face,,, I call them and ask them about the bike and he says he has two of them. A Black one and a Blue one. I ask hime what the correct price is and he say they are asking $9345.00,,,, I told him that there was a $8400.00 approximatly sign on it Saturday and he says that I must be mistaken or someone put the wrong sign on it,,,WTF????? But if I am willing to come in there they may be able to get somewhere in between their price and what I asked.

So I guess I must have screwed up or they are trying to pull a fast one.

That e-bay bike is an identical twin to the one I sat on when looking to order my M50. I still kind of kick myself for not buying it at the time, but had been out of riding on the street for quite some time and was a bit intimidated by 1600cc's. They wanted $8600 for it. Even though I like my M50, I still wonder "what if".

im with you, i was really thinking about a bigger CC bike but really couldnt justify the money. i was talking to a guy who had an 04 meanstreak for 8900 new. i came really close to getting it and do the same "what if" all the time.

Actually, I am kinda glad I didn't get the 1600. The M50 is all I can handle at the moment. This is only my second year of riding and I am still learning. The 1600 is roughly 100 pounds heavier and much more powerful. I think things worked out for the best. But I really wanted the 1600 Marauder.
