|  Another M50 Owner
Hello All, I've been reading threads on this site for a couple of weeks now and decided to finally join the ranks. Bought my M50 red back in July(well I make the payments) and so far I absolutely love the bike. I didn't care for the lame stock exhaust so after reading all the exhaust threads and not wanting to spend the $500 on the system I really want, I just drilled out the rear baffles. Started with (4) 1/4" holes, no real difference. Then to 3/8", started to hear a difference but I didn't like the sound. Then out to 1/2", getting better. Finally, to (  1/2"holes and now I like it. I'm kind of torn about putting a $500 exhaust on my bike as I also have a Ford Mustang Cobra that could use a performance H-pipe for the same cost. Eventually I will replace it but for now it sounds ok and the new pegs that I ordered will soothe the bling bug for now. Btw the Suzuki case gaurds are 1 1/4" not 1" like the web site says!!!
