Thanks all for the welcome,

I'm now out to 8-5/8" holes, in the last plate. Much better than stock,
more rumble at idle and even more when you get into it.(BTW my brandy
new Dewalt 14.4v 1/2" will twist my wrist right off if I'm not carefull)
I know it's kind of a half a$$ solution but right now I'm looking for just a little
more rumble and not performance and like I said before, for the same money
I could have a really nice H-pipe for the Cobra (stock one has 6 cats!!) and it's
a lot faster than my bike. The bike is for cruising and the Cobra is for.....

Anyway our bikes are fairly new and judging on the demand I think that in
the near future there will be a lot of options for exhaust systems. It is very
hard to resist the Hard Kromes though.....

BTW it may take a little to respond to threads as I surf only a few hours a
day and I'm on the east coast but will always get back to ya

Just thought I'd mention, I don't know your state laws but in Missouri a bike is not supposed to pass a safety inspection if the exhaust is altered in any way, ie holes drilled or baffles removed. Aftermarket is ok, but they don't like when you hack on em'. I had a heck of a time getting an old Virago passed because I drilled holes in the baffles. It wasn't very loud either, they were just being a pain cuz they can.

High Temp Flat Black paint. Spray it in the rear of the exhaust. It will make it all look like it is stock if someone who is inspecting doesn't know (especailly if they are looking for shiny fresh drilled holes),, but it will also help it from rusting too.
