| I know we have been beating up the Main Seat on the M50, but the passenger seat is a big problem for my wife. She will not go on rides over a few miles with me because it is so BAD, so when i was in a local Suzuki dealer I got to the subject and asked him about the passenger seat and asked if he had a C50 seat setting around because I thought I could mod one to fit. It was easyer that i had hoped 15 min and done! her is what I did. Bent the mounting Tad about 1/4 up behind main seat, Bent Tab up on C50 Pass Seat, and using a dremel tool cut off about an inch of the mounting hole under C50 seat. IT fitts snug but I like the looks better.

| very nice work!! im not crazy about the look, but if i had a 2 up rider, i would go for it for sure. form follows function! i know that rear seat (M50 stock) is not meant for anyone bigger than 5' and 92 pounds!

| The C50 passenger seat was a left over from some one upgrading their C50, So they let me have it for 25.00 which seemed to me to be a bargan. As far as putting on the Sissy bar, The 2 forward bolts can be a pain. They have a Nut plate inside the Fender and I have to grind a larger chamfer on the bolt I installed. Try getting that one on first and put a few twists on it but not tightened. Then install the rear bolt and this one has a 14mm nut on the inside of the fender. be careful on what type of locktight you use as if you use to strong of lock tight you may have a hard time removing them. ( My Mistake). and they should go on fine.

| Shambo, Thanks for the idea. I picked up a 2002 Volusia seat from ebay for $56 plus shipping, did the mod on the passenger pillion, and will now sell the Volusia driver seat back on ebay. My wife thinks it is 100% improvement over the stock M50 pillion. It may not be perfect, but untill Mustang or Corbin get off their butts, it sure is better than stock. Time4me2ride |

| Nice mod for 2-up but I can see daylight btween the fender and seat where it doesn't follow the fender contour. Why not cut a piece of closed cell foam (black/grey) in the shaped of the seat pan and place it between the fender and seat to fill the void?

| I bent the rear tab very close to the back of the pillion, then reshaped it and elongated the bolt hole so that the seat fits fairly tight on the contour of the fender. I think the closed cell foam idea may be easier/less time consuming. My wife really does love the seat mod.
