| Ok first of Hi to everyone. Ill state it simply, i am 25 years old and i own a 1979 Suzuki TS 125cc. The bike has less than 1100 miles on it. It is currently sitting behind my house with 2 tires that are dry rotted, a seat that has been ate up by mice, and a gas tank filled with rust. I would realy like to fix this bike up at get it road worthy just to ride around on weekends out here in the country.Yes i know its not exactly a good road bike but it is what i have and i dont have to make payments, and i love riding bikes.I would just like an opinion if you guys think this bike is worth spending a few hundred dollars on to get road worthy. Every thing on the bike is original except for the rear fender. Would just like some honest opinion's here. Thanks, ColonelVeers (edit) i forgot to also so that i had no clue where to post this, and this seemed like best forum for a TS bike. So if not the best place sorry for the inconvience. | Forensic Bug Splatter Analyst. ![]() | If you can give it fresh fluids , go through the carb and can get her to run, then sure put a few bucks in the ol bike. She should be good to putt around the neighborhood on, but wouldn't do much more without some major work. Get some fresh tires and tubes, have the fuel tank cleaned and lined. Check the brakes and the fork seals, etc. I went through a 1971 Suzuki 120 Wildcat that sat for years. Now she fires on the first kick and makes a great short haul bike for trips to the store etc.

| Sure did love those old TS bikes. . I had a '72 TS250, and later, a brand new '81 TS185 (blue, great bike!). Damn those were fun bikes. Anyway, yeah, spend a couple hundred and get that old TS back up and running, and enjoy it for a while! L.L. '05 Bandit1200 '05 DR650SE '04 KX500 '00 XR650R |
