I'm a cruiser rider and love my bike... I would like to take a trip from home and go to Alaska and back... now i know the terrain can get really rough at times, but would i need to change tire type, better shocks, raise the bike for ground clearance or anything like that? i've taken it on some harsh dirt roads (if you can call them roads) and i have bottomed out the frame a few times (no damage) just wondering if a lift kit and skid plates would be in order for a trek up to alaska... and no, i don't want to buy/rent another bike... i want to do it on my M50  |
