Default thinking about an aventure bike ?

for those of you sitting on the fence about adventure bikes, click the attached link. Not only are they very capable, they go where NO sportbike would go. And don't believe the rumours that the V-Stom is too fragile for off-road.

I agree. I have a Vstrom 650 and it's a fantastic machine. It handles the twisties with ease, plenty of torque, and on gravel or dirt, it's light weight makes it easy to handle. The BMW GS and the Vstrom 1000 are really too heavy for all but the most experienced rider off road. In short, they are a handful. Hope this helps.

Looked like the group found an old quarry to ride in. I go through puddles as deep as that or deeper just on my ride home from work...lol.. Florida downpours and road flooding are commonplace. No need for me to go 'adventure' seeking... Just wait for the rain... lol

Sounds like a lot of fun. Whenever I get money for a third bike....

Of course I'll need a second first.
