I seriously considered the new Connie...sat on one at a Kawi dealer in Littleton, NH and loved the ergos. After a bit of research, the 20-30 mpg indicated in several reviews really turned me off. I know it's got a honkin' powerful engine in it, but the economy is a bit low for a touring bike.

hi, guys I think about it WOW! Concours 14,I am almost the big 50 years old. I still have and ride my first big liter bike. 77 Z1R 1000 made bigger 1500cc big bore kit, carbs header the works. Seen the C-14 at the dealer ,fell in love with it but have not ridden one. Have read everyones pro's & con's on the bike so far. I believe I could deal with the heat & the windshield & seat.Im planning on buying one in the fall and mainly use for winter riding to work also touring. 50 miles to work one way. I read where the guy almost had his stolen if not for the FOB system. rocky Mississippi Drug Addiction |

This is an old post.. but I have to say. I rode the FJR and the BMW RT today as well as the '09 Connie. The Connie was the smoothest and the fastest by far. LOVED that bike! It rides as smooth as it looks. And for '09, they come in burgundy and black. | |

The luggage looks great but it's mounted too high and the rearview mirrors are too low- the result? You can't see a car directly behind you...
