Default New Seat Offer

Check out this new seat offer in Jacksonville Florida.

Sounds promising.

Cool!!!! Great link Smurf!!!! Wish the free seat applied to the V-Strom but the looks of that seat they have already developed really looks great!! I might have to invest in that for my V-Strom. I like the seat contour that it has for the bike. Plus the custom colored piping really sets it off.

I might be checking into that in the future. Who knows,,maybe they will loan me a seat if I take my bike down there and test it out.

Well I called the guy and talked to them. Here is the link to the V-Strom section.

http://www.sargentcycle.com/suzwsvstrom.htm

After talking to him and checking out the info on it,, I bit. I ordered one from him and I should have it in about two to three weeks. He said that they have a thirty day money back gaurantee. I just have to pay shipping to and from if i do not like it. Not a bad deal on a seat.

So hopefully I will be able to give a good review of it. Sits a little higher, better weight distribution for eliminating those two pressure points under your base of the butt, a little more legroom while riding, and the seat narrows for the stops so that you can still reach the ground better than the factory tall seat.

Thanks Smurf!!!! I appreciate it!!!!

I asked him about the Victory,,said that they mostly just sell Mustang for cruisers,,but you never know. So does the Victory seat sit hard after a while???

The V-Strom will make you want to stand up on the pegs after about thirty minutes.

I have a custom Sargent seat on my He Strom. It was made in the Sargent factory on a stock V Strom seat base. ($250) It's very firm, but has a good shape for my rear, and the dishing alows me to move forward, or back ever so slightly, and effect all new pressure points. The dishing also spreads the pressure over a larger area. The seat, along with the highway pegs, alows me lots of options for shifting position to good effect.
My seat sits a little lower than a stock 650 seat.
I was also thinking of getting a drivers backrest, but it's looking more, and more like I won't be needing to. I'm hoping the new Rifle windshield will come today, and I'll be able to check everything out this w/e on a nice long ride.
