Hwy 166. There are several good side roads that have some floorboard draggers on them. There are alot of hills still,,, but yeah,,the growth is beginning to kill D'ville.

No,, they are floorboards on the LC,, I drag them everytime. I haven't dragged the pegs on the V-Strom yet. That would be some serious lean if I did.

I'll just have to pile on the miles before the movers get their hands on the Strom.
That was what I was targeting too and the Wee Strom fills the bill perfectly. As I've mentioned, a group of us rode up to the Sturgis area the week before the ralley. For me, it was 2761 miles in a week and I never got tired of riding the bike. The heat in Okla. and Kansas about did me in but the bike was comfortable the whole way. Riding with the group (Harleys and Honda Shadows) in the twisties like the Needles Hiway, they just waved me to the front so I could go on. Damn!! Was it ever fun! I had a Vulcan 500 LTD which I dearly loved and wish I could have kept. It was quick, had good power and was nimble but not even in the same league as my Strom plus I get fuel economy as good as the 500cc bike.
