Default 97' 600 Rebuild?

I have a 97 that was stolen and recovered. It was dropped, but the frame is fine. I have all of the plastics, and have intended to cosmetically put her back together. She has sat for about 4 years, and the motor is semi-locked up. I pulled the plugs and soaked the tops of the pistons with oil, and she is freeing up a bit. I can turn her over by hand about half a stroke.

Is t worth it to rebuild this bike? What kind of cost in parts should I expect? I can perform the work myself just short of the machine work. I'm thinking just a top end rebuild. Your thoughts?
