Default 1992 Katana 750 power adders?

This is my first motorcycle. know its a big bike for a bigger, but I got it from a good friend on trade, but I've taken the state motorcycle class and I like to consider myself a good rider. Even if I have been riding less than a year. Now to my question:

1.) I want to switch my stock air box out individual filters. Good idea? Will this give any benefit, i.e. throttle response, economy? And, which filter do I use, I measure the carburetor inlet and it is oval, 58mm x 63mm, where most filters are round.

2.)When I pulled the stock airbox the entire inside was soaked in oil as if the engne has terrible blowby. The carbs seem to seap some fuel so I plan to rebuild all four carbs. Should I be considered about the blowby? The bike runs great and doesnt seem to smoke.

3.) Exhuast is now dual. Is it worth is to upgrade to a single aftermarket pipe? I found out real quick motorcycle exhuast is expensive.

4.) I was going to go with a stage one or stage two rejet kit. Is this an easy install and is it worth it? Im a automobile mechanic so I think I can handle it a rebuild and rejet if its not a complete pain in the rearend.

5.) After installing the rejet kit is there a lot of tuning required? I own a few carburetored cars and there is nothin I hate more than to adjust carbs every other drive.

The bikes runs great. I dont want to mess up a good thing, but Im the type of person than cant leave anything stock. The bike has a few oil leaks and uses about one quart of oil every 800 or so miles, so I have all the fairings off to replace these gaskets. (Im hoping its the oil leaks using oil, and not all becuase of blowby.) I figure now is the time to tweak the bike a little. Any input would be greatly needed. The bike has 44k miles and runs like it was new, I just want to make a great bike a little better, and make it my own, not just another stock bike.

Thanks
