Default in wire hell

I purchased a new LED rear-tail-light assembly with integrated turn-signals designed for a 2000 Yamaha R6 and I am trying to hook it up to my 1990 GSX750F Suzuki Katana.
Why would I do that; you ask?
Well, other than the fact that they are an excellent fit & look awesome; I am an idiot.
I knew it would be a bit challenging to install.. but I really didn't think it would take this long to figure it out.
I have bought a pack of fuses (because so far I have blown several) and I think that I may have blown the turn-signal relay (due to the fact that the front blinkers aren't blinking anymore [either]).
I have tried several combinations and have come up with only one that works - even then; the brake lights won't brighten if you apply the brake.
The turn signals work but won't blink. (thinking it's the relay)

The new break-light assembly was purchased new, but did not have any wiring schematics. (considering most people buy it for the R6 and just plug it in directly and go) I have no way of knowing what wires do what.

Is it possible I blew a break-light-switch relay?

I guess my question is should I give this up?? Or does anyone have any ideas on how this can work.

This is what I am looking at.

This is the only working combination - But the break-lights won't brighten-up if the break is applied.
