I purchases a none running 89 kat 600 with glogged carbs etc. The bike is stock with the exception of kerker 2 into 1 pipes on each side. I cleaned the carbs and got the bike running fairly well; however believe I need to have the carbs adjusted and check all lines to the tank, as it runs great on new plugs for 30 miles then appears to foul the plugs. My question is this, I was recently given a 93 Kat 600 parts bike and the carbs on them are in great shape with a phase III jet kit. They also have K&N filters attached. I was wondering if I would be better off installing the 93 carbs with the jet kit and filters with my exhaust. Any recommendations for best results |
