Default 3 position knob under the gas tank on a '96 Kat 600
Give me a Toyota and I will take it apart and put it back together in two days. Give me a new toy and I will have to ask a few questions.

On the left side of the gas tank there is a 3 position turn thing. I think it might be called a petcock since I am finding references of an item with that name around the tank.

What is this knob called and what do the three settings for it. I might as well ask what they do. So far mine has been pointing down the whole time.
