Is it running well? Change the oil and filter if you can't verify when it was done last. How do you define "regular"? A bike that old should have its steering head bearings, swingarm bearings, axle bearings, controls, brakes, and just about everything else looked at to make sure it's safe. That's quite regular to me. Consider buying a Clymer or Haynes and reading through the relevant sections.

Welcome.
