Default Nice rides

Man I wish mine looked half as good as some of the rides I have seen on this board. I got my 83 V45 Magna from my neighbor. In a 3 week period he laid it down twice. I told him he better give it to me before he hurt himself. and about a month later I was working on the bike trying to get it running.
I had to replace the mirrors, turn signals, get the case welded back together, and fix the exhaust plus rewire several shorts. It still has the dents and scrapes all around it, but it runs so I ride.
I took the wife for her first ride last month and now she is hooked, so I tell her that (we) need to get a bigger bikeHopefully it will last til tax time.

Sounds like you put a lot of work in it.

You either fork out a lot of cash at once or you put a little in at a time, either way you pay to ride and to get it the way you like it I just put some cheap crusier pegs on it and am in the process of putting some more lighting front and rear, oh and don't forget saddle bags, accy. plug to plug in the cell phone when it goes dead

It's a never ending battle to get it the way you want it.
