Default My 1976 CB550F Restoration Project (lotsa pics)

If this isn't the right section for it (I don't see why it wouldn't be, but just covering my ass here), then it's probably because I registered 5 min ago and therefore I'm stupid.

I recently picked up this 1976 CB550F for a project this summer. It's my first bike and I've probably paid too much for it already (but I'm a kid, I hope that counts as an excuse). I plan to strip the frame, repaint the body panels in gloss black, powdercoat the frame satin silver, and polish the remaining bits.

I'm hoping I can ask you all for advice from time to time, as I don't have much prior experience to restoration. I'm looking to use the bike almost daily as well.

Some pics:

After taking the fuel tank off from transporting it (there's a story behind that, but I'm slightly embarrassed to share it )

Thanks in advance.
