|  Gettin' an 03 Electra Glide Classic I'm Gettin' an 03 Electra Glide Classic and am looking for some feedback. It is real clean with 40K miles and the guy wants $10K. He is a "friend". Seems like a VERY good deal. I rode it today and it runs great. What do you think? Is it really a deal?

| 10K is at the very low end of the retail value for this bike, so I doubt you would find one any cheaper. I've seen '03s go for as much as $13,500, and rarely less than $10,000-10,500. I absolutely LOVE my Electra Glide. The EG is a great bike, with plenty of room, a comfortable ride, plenty or power, and surprisingly good handling for a bike of its size. I know folks with well over 125,000 miles on that twin cam motor also, so it should last you a good long time.

| Local Dealer has a 2002 with 37k miles on it. He's asking $12,500. I don't know much about Harley's, but that is the model I would want, and it sounds like you're getting a good deal.

| You’ll like the big Glide, although if you haven’t yet climbed aboard don’t be surprised with the ergonomics… they’re peculiar to Glides… and $10K is great… I’ve got an Evo engined Ultra – tad down on power compared to the twinkies that occasionally blow by me, but awfully trustworthy and I use the ol’gal like it was a truck…

| It does sound a bit cheap, and if there were any add ons (there almost always are) it makes it sound even cheaper. But the way things are going, there will be a few more "toys" for sale.
