Default Who says all Harleys sit in the garage?
I ran across this at the Nascar race at the Chicagoland Speedway last weekend. The owner, "Panhead Bill" said the motor was a '50(?), rigid frame from the 30's, '71 springer front end, volkswagen rear wheel. Says he has over 600,000 miles on it. His riding partner said Bill has been to nearly every Harley Dealership in the country, picking up free parts along the way, and is pretty well known. Maybe they were feeding me a line, but decent guys none the less.... Anyone recognize him? (Panhead Bill on the left, me in the middle)
