  |  educate me! v-rod revisions / fuel tank upgrades
ok, so on my exceedingly short list of "bike i'm gonna buy to ride this year" is the V-Rod. there's one or two other machines on there as well, but The Big V is top-o-da-list. anyhoo, what's the revision history of the V-Rod? what changes were made during what years? one thing i noticed is that the current models get bigger 5 gal fuel tanks, and the originals had 3.x gal tanks. when did that change happen? are there big 5g tanks that can be stuffed into the older models? obviously gonna buy used, since i can't afford new. |
