| Just curious. How many of you own Harleys, and if so, what do you own and which bike do you ride the most, i.e. your Harley or your metric bike?

| I own a 2002 Electra Glide Standard; Intruder 800; 1979 Shovelhead FLH-80; a 1998 California Motorcycle Custom (Fat Boy clone); and an Intruder 1400 that my girlfriend rides almost every day. Mileage wise, I ride them in that order. But the Electra Glide racks up most of its miles on road trips, while the shovelhead is my favoite and I ride it to work almost everyday. So I guess if you mean 'ride most often' the old Harley gets the nod, and if you mean most miles the newer Harley gets the nod. Both have hard bags for my laptop and other stuff, and hook ups for my electric heated gear in the winter. But the 800 is just too much fun in the twisties so I keep it around to ride about once a week, even if it does sit in garage all winter.

| `96 Evo Ultra – right now my `99 Nomad is getting used daily for commuting/grocery-getting cuz I’m rebuilding the brakes on the Harley – hope to get `er on the road this weekend... For out of town and solo, the Harley, for commuting at paddle-foot speeds and two-up the higher mileage and a tad more spacious Nomad appeals to my wife...

| The V Strom is the most fun bike I have ever ridden, and it is surprisingly comfortable too, yet for reason that I can't explain, I almost always opt for the Road King. Go figure.
