Down boy... and don't start wispering French in her ear. Remember what happened with Trapper's wife.

| Whooohoo! Another shovelhead on the forum!!!! Nice looking scoot! The springer is nice too, even if it was built after 1985. You probably saw it on the other post, but here is my bagger, a '79 FLH. Sinse the picture I've added a lay down extended brake pedal, and buffed out the headlight nacelle back to a mirror finish. The old girl was in your neck of the woods six times in the last month, as I rode it to Texas and back twice and to Baton Rouge and back also. My next project will probably be a shovelhead low rider also, as there is a basket case down at the local indy that is calling my name. My sweetie rides a 1400 Intruder, but has trouble riding my FLH due to her short legs, so a lowrider might be just the ticket for her!

| I'm sure glad this thread didn't stray too far off topic and turn into a 1-900-CHAT-LINE. Here's what I used to have:

I am almost 5'2 so I can definitely understand where your wife might prefer a lowrider. Quote:

Actually, she's my girlfriend...don't give her any ideas! ![]() Almost 5'2, eh? Hee hee hee...she is barely 5-foot, and has very narrow hips, so I think a Lowrider would fit her well. She has a Suzuki Volusia, but it was too wide for her. Her 1400 has been lowered 2 3 inches, so it fits her pretty well, but it is getting up there in miles and she is ready to step up to a Harley. Do you have any more pics of yours? I think she would like it a lot, and get more excited about the basket case if she saw how cool it could look when it was done.

They should be here today or tomorrow. It's strange to see so few people excited about Harley's here in the forum. Glad to see I am not alone here though! Just about everyone who rides around these parts (here in Mississippi) has a Harley. | |
