Default My old shovelhead

Here is a pic of what I've been working on: a 1979 Harley FLH-80. I picked it up cheap as a barely running, semi-basket case, and did a bunch of work on it. It's got the original 1340cc shovelhead motor with an Andrews cam, modern CV carb, belt primary drive conversion, a Le Para solo seat, Progressive shocks and forks, Avon tires, and fishtail drag pipes. Other improvements include ISO grips, highway pegs, rebuilt brake system, chrome levers, tank emblems from a 66 FLH, new heat shields, heal guards on the floorboards, smaller rear sprocket, red lenses for the rear turn signals, hook ups for my heated jacket and gloves, and an aftermarket alternator that puts out about twice the amps. I also replaced some missing or broken parts, like rear turn signal bar, dash, speedo, throttle lock, chain, and heat shields.
