| I have a 2004 GSXR 600. I am in need of a new rear tire and was wondering if I could put a 200 on the stock rim. I was also wondering if anyone had done this and had any drawbacks or advantages to the wider tire. Thanks...

| IMHO, it really depends on what you bought the bike for. Some people just want to ride around town on a bike and aren't really concerned with fast cornering. If that's your story, the rear tire won't affect your end use negatively. Personally, I think you should stick with stock tire sizes, but that's me. |
