| Banned ![]() | Hey all, i've been a backroad rider basically all the time I've owned my bike.. have taken the bike on the high way MANY times though... (hit 177, stupid move, yet fun) however recently i've been commuting to work (just graduated, now work in the city) and travel about 40 out of 45 miles on the highway now. The wind doesnt really both me as i average 80-90 mph and its hitting me in the face/chest a little, just for ease should i get a double bubble? Will it make THAT much of a difference, it doesnt bother me now.. but I can feel the wind on me sometimes. I already ordered this one . was just curious if it will make a noticable difference. |

| Mine came from the dealer with a ZG double bubble. I can't speak to the wind, but I can tell you that those windscreens look super-sexy on a GSXR. I liked th elooks so much that I bought another to replace the one that I cracked when I skidded through the 1" thick slice of gravel at 10:30 at night.

| My friend has it on his CBR1000RR and says it's great. But then again he is one of those crazy riders that can't tell how fast he's going cuz his digital meter only goes up so far. I have one on my Duc but I got it when I bought it so I really had nothing to compare. I just didn't like a hump that was in the middle of the screen with the normal one. And since I was getting it replaced I got one that was tinted. It's not too high though. http://www.bolt.jp/2004-catalog/moto...s-l/image5.jpg

| ... ![]() | in my case, i'd be interested in getting one for two reasons - one being pushing the airflow higher over me since i do a lot of my riding in a non-tucked position, and the other so that i can actually see the turn signal indicators! they're at the top of the instrument cluster, so they get blocked by the edge of the stock screen while in my natural riding posture. i've ended up with the blinkers-a-blinking for a few miles. the price isn't too bad - i think around $80 US for the type for my bike - so would be nice to know how noticeable the effect is. |
