did you notice any difference with the mirrors? I know there is a foam covered weight inside the mirror, or did you remove that before the oven treatment?
I am imagining the foam melting, and not ony making a mess, but causing the weight to come loose, and the mirror to not be curved.
Just curious.
Looks great though. I am definitly intrigued

the mirror has a rubber lining over the edge that has to be removed. otherwise, you're right, it would melt. the foam covered weight is not attached to anything so it comes right out when you remove the mirror. i really don't use the o.e.m. mirrors since i like teardrop shaped ones instead. but it shape of the housing didn't change, so i don't think it will make a noticeable difference.
