Default Driver to Passenger Intercom's

PMC-2X Wired Motorcycle Intercom System

I was thinking of getting these for an intercom system. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars either. From what I read, these work fairly well.

But, now I'm wondering about the ear piece and my helmet? Does anyone know or have any experience with this set ??

thanks

dan

I don't have any information on that brand. I have the Autocom from Autocom - Home of the World's best Motorcycle Communication & Entertainment systems it is a very good system. My father in law has a Goldwing with built in system and the autocom works better than the Goldwing's system. The most important thing is positioning in the helmet. My wifes earpiece is slightly out of place so it sounds like it is far away and above you. My earpiece is right next to my ear and I can hear everything perfect.

I've never tried that brand either. My now ex-wife bought an expensive set for us. I found them to be annoying and distracting, and frankly if I wanted to talk we'd be in the car and not on the bike. After 3 hours of "hey! Did you see that? That was cool" the batteries mercifully went dead. I never recharged them, and sold them on EBAY. LOL!

I don't use anything for the reason Bob mentioned. I have researched this a number of times, though. It seems that none of the inexpensive options provide the noise handling, sound quality or volume to make them worthwhile. I'd save your pennies for something good.

I have the StarCom system on my bike and it works great. My wife and I can speak when ever we want and at the same time have some music in the background. Goto StarCom1 Motorcycle intercom helmet audio communication system bluetooth
