Getting There and Back: GPS & Electronics For those who hate asking for directions.

We can attach .zip files. Use a Windows utility to zip the file, then use the advanced post dialog. On my machine, I can simply right-click and select 'add to archive'. I'm not sure whether that's a native Windows feature, though, or something I added.

Not sure I mentioned this, but I have a Zumo 550 and I really like it. It also went dead, but I went into the Zumo forum and discovered what to do. All I had to do was remove the battery, wait about 30 seconds, and install the battery again. It came on immediately.

Someone mentioned starting a sub forum, but there's out there already on Zumos, and it's really good, lots of good information.

The subforum idea was for ride routes, not the gps unit itself. Have you seen anything like that? Here's probably the best one I've seen:
