Default needing tunes for the ride

i am new to the riding mentality and I am looking for ideas on either great headphones or helmet speakers that i can hook up to my Ipod for the Ride. My biggest problem that I am having with my current headphones is that I have to have them loud for while on the move but that just blairs me at stops any suggestions.

I've got a set of the HS-200 helmet speakers that work great.

I wear a full face helmet and bought these for in my helmet.

I like them because they give me a little background music without drowning out the sounds of traffic. I have been in my car and come face to face with things like ambulances and fire trucks because my music was too loud. (Back in my teens)
