Question Routing suggestions - North GA to FL?

Heading south through GA next weekend heading for Leesburg, FL. Anyone have any suggestions for routes south that are scenic and not totally filled with traffic? Doing backroads is preferred!

Thanks,
Jim

Hop onto to 27 down by Chattanooga.

Follow 27 to 185 into Columbus.

Pickup 27,280,520 until it becomes 82.

Follow 82 until it intersects with 221 and 441. Follow 441 right into Leesburg.

Thank you.... (hadn't checked the post in a while).

Pretty much the route we had planned. The problem now is the approaching weather front.... may abandon the 'backroads' route down for sub of speed, getting as far SE as possible, then riding out the weather in a nice dry hotel room and continuing the remainder on Friday. We'll then take the leisurely ride northward on sunday/monday!

Ah the joys of long distance riding!

Later gators!

Oh boy, weather front was the understatement of the century....took off at 0530 Thursday in the rain/wind and didn't punch out of it till Friday mid-afternoon. Even my rain gear was looking for rain gear!

Found just the opposite on Sunday/Monday (sunburnt big time) and did the lost by GPS fun! Found some real interesting roads in GA & AL on the way home, shame I forgot to clear my memory to save the route.
