Default Gps

Are there any GPS' out there that are easy to mount and use that won't break the bank? Are there specific ones for bikes?

I'm looking for one that's fairly inexpensive.

Mine was 800 bucks and I could have it in the car or on a bike. What do you mean by "inexpensive"? If you mean a hundred or 200 bucks, probably not.

Check out the Garmin i Series. i2, i3, i5.
They use a ball socket joint to connect, are small, lightweight, non-touch screen, and relatively inexpensive. Abes of Maine usually has them for a good price.

Off the top of my head, Garmin and TomTom both make motorcycle specific GPS units. You can get RAM mounts for just about any unit, though.

Justin, 800 bones? Does it also sing and dance? Dang bud you paid a lot for that thing.

It's the Magellan Roadmate 760 model (I believe) and I bought it when it first came out... They still go for around 650 - 700 I've seen.

I've got a Garmin Quest, and Tomtom has been pushing their "Tomtom Rider" heavily. But the one that seems to get all of the attention (and the best reviews) at the moment is a new Garmin Zumo 550.

Refurb models yeah Electronics always drop pretty dramatically after a while. That way they can make room for their newest junk.

8 year veteran of computer tech jobs. I understand that stuff gets cheaper after a while.

Its still a crapload to spend on a GPS

Default Cheap GPS

Try EDGEgps.com. They have refurbed units. A Garmin 2610 can be had for about $239 ( I got mine for that) It's an $800 unit.
