| Does anyone have any suggestions for rider/passenger communication? I have been looking for a voice activated bluetooth headset that has 2/way communication, but fruitless search so far... S. |

| Nolan N-Com helmets are available, pricey but can use wired or Bluetooth wireless. Full Face, Modular, 3/4 and Jet(Reduced 3/4) Requires helmet, basic and then intercom. X 2 |

| Newbie | I have a cardo scala rider. It is a bluetooth headset for a helmet. I love it. My wife and I both have them and would use unlimited mobile to mobile to talk while we were riding. They have since come out with a set that will communicate with each other directly via bluetooth. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend them. I think the 2 person set was about $239 for the pair.

| I have looked at a couple of reviews for the Scala Rider set. It is based on the Scala 700 head set, which can be paired to 2 diff. cell phones. But the voice activated dialing is effective only about 25% of the time. One review suggested the Motorola helmet universal system was better. The Motorola is based on the H830 headset. The reviews I have read on these system were all short term users. So any one with long term experience your input would be appreciated. The Nolan N-com system could cost as little as $500 a pair, depending on helmets chosen. The Scala is MSRP at $229 per pair. The Motorola is MSRP at $179 each, although have seen as low as $79each. |

| I bought a Chatterbox Tandem Pro 50 intercom system with two head sets. It never worked. It would play music over the speakers, but the mic's would never pick up anything. I sent it back twice to the manufacturer both times it still didn't work. I finally sent it back and told them to keep it. Oh and my experience with their warranty department was terrible. I wouldn't give that company a dime of my money. Just my $0.02 based on my experience.

| Yes, the Vox sensitivity contol went from min to max with no effect, there was not even static on the system. The volume control(separate) worked fine and the music from an MP3 player would go over the speakers well, swapped mics and headsets etc. with no improvement. I'm sure the system would do fine if it worked, but the one they sent me was defective and their customer service in the warranty dept was so bad that I will never do business with them again.

| My now ex-wife bought a set of chatterboxes. I asked her 'why?' She said "so we can talk while we ride!" After two hours of "Hey look at that! That is cool! Hey look at that! That is cool! Hey look at that! I need to pee", I was tickled pink when the batteries went dead. I sold them on EBAY after one use, and told her if I wanted to talk to her we'd take the car.

| I bought 2 chatterboxes. When the wife was riding on my bike with me we plugged hers into mine and we enjoyed being able to talk to one another but then again even after 21 years I actually like my wife. Now that she has her own bike the Chatterboxes are even handier. I can warn her about upcoming curves, obstacles or idiots etc. and she can easily let me know when she needs a "buttbreak". We live in a rural area but do go to Tucson once in a while and getting seperated by traffic is no longer a worry. The VOX is a bit tricky and takes some getting used to but once you find your sweet spot the radios work well. |

| ChatterBox HJC-FRS Multisport Communicator Kit - Motorcycle Superstore My brother bought this one and I'll be picking up the same model for Full-Face Helmets..... Only options I need are another stero headset and a extension cable. My brother said they work great, plus the FRS will give us a little range to talk bike to bike. Originally I wanted to use my GMRS radios since they have a longer range, but we don't separate that much when riding together. dan |
